Better Process Control School – Fall 2024
To comply with USDA and FDA regulations food manufacturers of low-acid or acidified foods must operate at all times under the supervision of a person who has attended a Better Process Control School. This training uses the most updated material revised by federal regulatory agencies “Canned Foods: Principles of Thermal Process Control, Acidification and Container Closure Evaluation (9th Edition)”. Upon completion of the 4 days of training and obtaining a minimum of 70% in all exams, the participant will receive certification in Acidified, Retort and Aseptic processes.

Preventive Controls for Human Food Course (PCQI Training)
July 31 – August 2, 2024 (Fayetteville, AR)
The Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk‐based Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation (referred to as the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation) is intended to ensure safe manufacturing/processing, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States. The regulation requires that certain activities must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual.” This course, developed by FSPCA, is the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA; successfully completing this course is one way to meet the requirements for a “preventive controls qualified individual.”
